The former president's Family Member Receives Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut
The rising star boasts impressive online following
Kai Trump can count on multiple well-known backers as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous international courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa practically told me to play and have fun," she added.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."
As an amateur, Kai has participated in only three events this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.
"He stands as the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to play, enjoy myself, following the flow."
Kai will face multiple the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials mentioned that Kai's presence brings the sport to new audiences, especially with the next generation.
Kai boasts millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
