An American-Palestinian teenager after completing nine months in Israel's custody without charge has been freed.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old when he was arrested in February within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting while residing in Florida accused of stone-throwing toward Israeli settlers, allegations he repeatedly contested.
United States authorities expressed satisfaction with Mohammed's liberation.
Currently aged sixteen, was taken to hospital right after being freed, family members reported.
Family described him as visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions acquired while detained.
Via family representatives, Mohammed's uncle expressed the family's "immense relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "living a horrific and endless nightmare" throughout the past nine months.
"At this moment, our priority is providing Mohammed with urgent medical care he requires after being subjected to Israel's abuse and inhumane conditions throughout his detention."
The state department announced ongoing to extend consular services for the Ibrahim family.
{"US government authorities has no higher priority to the protection and welfare of US citizens"," officials stated.
Several congressional representatives submitted a formal letter to US authorities and the administration, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.
Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four managing a frozen treats business from Florida, had earlier stated his son only confessed about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.
The father hadn't visited nor direct contact following the detention, learning information solely about his son's condition in detention through court documents.
He stayed without charge in Ofer prison throughout the occupied territory.
The facility also contains adult prisoners, featuring prisoners sentenced of serious terrorism offences and murder.
There are around several hundred young Palestinian detainees detained within Israeli facilities, per correctional service statistics.
Many have never been charged along with monitoring agencies, as well as the United Nations, say some have suffered abuse and torture.
Following Mohammed's release, the uncle stated they would maintain their efforts seeking justice for their relative their cousin Sayfollah.
This young American-Palestinian per medical officials succumbed to assault by settlement residents during a confrontation last July.
Initially, defense forces stated officials were investigating accounts of a Palestinian was deceased.
Mohammed and Sayfollah were employed together in the family ice cream shop in Tampa, Florida.
No charges have been filed for the cousin's murder.
"We demand the American government to protect our families," Mr Kadur said.
